NEW: Interactive, Community Blog Posts
As we continue to collectively manage artists’ and businesses, we position ourselves as trusted industry experts. Fulfilling this status and remaining knowledgeable requires feedback in order to develop as a company which we would like to do through listening and engaging with the communities thoughts and ideas. As a new, transparent and improving company, we want to interact with as many people as possible to grow, apply your feedback and concerns, answer your questions, and fulfil ideas requests or inquiries. More importantly - we are trying to create a positive, engaging creative community, and part of that involves hearing your thoughts on CandyJam, and often forgotten aspect of communication - listening.
In order continue to grow and remain committed to our values, we want to hear from you’s! Once or twice a week, a community blog post will be visible and interactive in a few different ways as I’ll discuss the possible options and formats for these posts below. The website is upgrading and gaining a few new features soon - some more exciting elements and content to come.
The posts can be found as project sign ups as we often freelance positions for projects like actors, trades work, niche artists, etc. The beginning phases will probably be bland questionnaires testing the waters, although quiz blogs, interactive designs and graphics, or live Q&A’s are examples of blogs posts we’re doing with this format, exclusive interactive content from CandyJam.
What Type of Blogs to Expect
As partially mentioned it’ll be; interactive, once a week, and noticeable within the blog posts or coming projects section. We are growing and need positions filled so unique job applications and requests will be a common format, or artist inquiries. We aim for most posts to be fun in a game or quiz to make things enjoyable and interactive and partially educational. Also, possibly an idea requests, or a community suggestions format as we’d love to hear your ideas for us! Your answers won’t be visible to others, as filled-forms will be emailed to CEO Jamie or fulfilled only for your purpose, as we collect your name and email to notify us who submitted what (we don’t care what Pixar character you’d be based on your birthday, we prefer thoughtful, in-depth answers).
What’s the Purpose of this addition?
Engagement, feedback, company insights and statistics, but mostly starting conversations and commotion. There are numerous ways to gain more website/internet traffic, or a following as this is one of them. Being a for-profit corporation means we have to generate revenue which we do through advertisement, sponsored content, and business agreements-which will be done through other blog posts. Interactive posts add time spent on our page, adding overall value to our company, thus helping us build a cool, creative community - which is difficult.
What is meant by “Community” ?
Fans, a collective, you reading this - CandyJam is building a foundational business model that can revolutionize the arts community in a fair, respectable and appreciated manner. Many artists loose profits, cannot financially sustain themselves with their work, or are deeply rooted with their creative arts passion veering the thought of other needed fields for success away, to which CandyJam comes in to aid. As we work individually with artists, collectively with artisanal fields and small businesses, we’re creating a community of interest through our mission and work. Through our work comes you, the reader, consumer and appreciation - so thank you for being involved this easily.
When Does This Start?
Right now, below the photo! The first CandyJam Community Blog is a community inquiries and ideas questionnaire format. As a new company seeking to work with many different types of artists, we want to hear from you and many more! You may fill out the form answering the questions below, specific, funny, or however thought provoking you feel. I will be emailed every submission, not sure what I’ll do with them, that will be another blog post.
